Our Vision: To be "A Community Growing In Christ."

Our Mission: To Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples.

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father. That He hears and answers prayer. That He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ and that His love has the power to free us from absolutely anything.

Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, He joined together the deity of God and the humanity of humankind. We gratefully acknowledge that He is our Savior. There He sits as our exalted Lord at the right hand of God the Father, where He intercedes for us.

The Bible is God’s written Word, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit.  It bears unerring witness to Jesus Christ, the living Word.  It is the trustworthy record of God’s revelation, completely truthful in all it affirms.

There is one living and true God, the maker and preserver of all things.  And in the unity of this Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  These three are one in eternity, deity and purpose; everlasting, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness.

Our story:

We are part of the Free Methodist Church denomination. The Free Methodist Church began in 1860 with the simple idea that church should be free and open to everyone. They took a stand against the common practice of renting pews. They took a stand against slavery, thus calling themselves Free Methodists. Venice FMC is part of a network called the Pacific Coast Japanese Conference (www.pcjcfm.org), which is one of the many conferences found in the Free Methodists of North America (www.fmcusa.org).
